West Hatch Wildlife Centre is an RSPCA centre devoted to the rehabilitation and release of injured and displaced wildlife casualties.
Wildlife Casualty
If you have found a wildlife casualty, then please follow the following steps:
Confirm that it is definitely a casualty. In most cases this will be obvious but if it is a young mammal or bird that you have found there is a chance that it's parents are still tending to its needs
If it is safe to do so, put the casualty in a box and take it to a wildlife centre such as West Hatch. We are open to receive casualties between 8am and 6pm all year (and up to 9pm in the Summer months).
If you are not sure, or cannot take it to a wildlife centre yourself then please call the RSPCA helpline on 03001234999, but please bear in mind that the RSPCA is always busy and it may take time to respond to the rescue of the casualty.
